Olive Grove
Olive Grove is inspired by the gardens and traditions of the first-century Mediterranean world, where the olive tree held a significant place in daily life and Christian tradition.
Olive oil was used for food, anointing and blessing, carrying associations from the Garden of Gethsemane through to the biblical traditions of welcome and celebration.
"And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart."
— Psalm 104:15 (KJV)
The Table
Each table is prepared for ten guests and begins with ten dining chairs, olive-toned table linens, ceramic dinner and salad plates, a complete set of cutlery, and wine, champagne and tumbler glassware. An olive-toned napkin and printed menu complete each place setting.
Olive branches and candlelight are arranged at the centre of each table, creating a natural and welcoming setting. Shared bowls of olives, olive oil and olive-based accompaniments are placed alongside artisan flatbreads, intended to be reached for, passed and shared.
The effect is calm, welcoming and generous, a table composed for conversation, fellowship and the pleasure of sharing a meal together.
Table settings, furnishings and decorative details shown or described are representative of the House style and may vary according to availability, season and operational requirements, while maintaining the character and standard of the selected gathering.
